La Concejalía de Cultura del Ajuntament de Dénia, en colaboración con el Centro Coreográfico de Dénia (CCD), ha organizado por quinto año consecutivo el Festival de danza contemporánea Ultramar Dansa, cuyo objetivo principal es la promoción y la difusión de la danza contemporánea más actual y vanguardista en España.
Ultramar Dansa se celebra los días 7, 8 y 9 de noviembre en el teatro auditorio del Centro Social de Dénia, donde se presentarán un total de seis espectáculos, dos diarios. Entre ellos, la organización destaca la participación de la compañía del bailarín, actor y coreógrafo valenciano Toni Aparisi, ganador de tres premios Max, entre otros reconocimientos, quien junto a Iris Pintos protagonizará la pieza Relaciones.
También cabe señalar el espectáculo que ofrecerá la compañía canaria Carmen Fumero con la pieza … eran casi las dos, en la que Fumero bailará con Miguel Ballabriga, finalista a los premios Max de las artes escénicas 2018 en la categoría de mejor intérprete masculino de danza.
